Introduction

Greetings, I’m a software engineer with over four years of full-stack development experience, specializing in building scalable solutions using JavaScript and Python. I’m passionate about leveraging technology to solve real-world problems and bring strong expertise in feature development, performance optimization, bug fixing, and collaborating across cross-functional teams in both agile startups and large enterprises. My career began at a startup called WarrantyMe, where I was among the first five software engineers to join. I started during the final year of my bachelor's degree, gaining hands-on experience building the platform from the ground up. I worked on the front end using React.js and built backend APIs with Flask, while managing cloud deployments on AWS. I then pursued my Master’s in Computer Science at the University of Massachusetts, Boston, where I deepened my knowledge in algorithms, data structures, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. During this time, I contributed to projects such as biomedical image processing, a ChatBot engine for McDonald's, crime prediction with TensorFlow, and IoT data integration using ESP32. While completing my degree, I interned at Scout Better, a startup incubated by the OwlSpark accelerator at Rice University. There, I developed backend microservices in Golang to support candidate assessment workflows. After graduation, I joined Verizon as a software engineer on a contract role to work on the Network Customer Portal, gaining enterprise-level experience with large-scale network systems and high-volume user interactions. My work involved in designing ETL processes in Java and Python, incorporating Kafka for streaming data, which enhanced system efficiency and optimized ML models for edge computing, using Rust and Go for low-latency components, resulting in faster response times during peak network loads. Most recently, I’ve been working at Aetna-CVS on the care paths project, focusing on HIPAA-compliant, large-scale healthcare data processing. Developed personalized health recommendation models, and Built microservices with FastAPI and Java, supporting real-time integrations that streamlined app experiences for chronic condition management.
